When you want to make formula applicable to an array, you select the array, enter the formula and press Shift+Control+Enter keys simultaneously. Once you make the formula applicable to the array, if you want to edit any cell in the array, what keys to be pressed before you can edit the cell?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Hi velturi and welcome to the board.
Not sure but you can edit the array formula in the same way like normal formula/array.

Could you elaborate your question a little bit more?

You would have to select the entire array of cells then you would edit as needed then re-enter as an array.

Thank you for replying.
Excel does not permit editing the formula cell singly when it is part of an array, to which the formula was applied. It gives an error message saying that " You can not change a part of the array formula".
I want to edit the formula in one of the cells in the array, to which an array formula was applied originally.

Thanks,

Select the area the formula covers. Go the the first cell, edit the formula, and apply control+shift+enter.

Hi,
The problem has luckily been solved.
To make the array formula non-array type , Select the array to which the formula is applicable then press Ctrl+Enter keys symoultaneously. This action makes removes the braces around formula and makes the formula applicable to individual cells.
You can make any changes to any cell individually and press enter key.

Glad you got it sorted out but that's different from the question you asked in your original post.

Thanks for the feedback!
