Good evening,

I have a column named "ColonneClasses" that contain either numbers or "" according to the calculations that are in the sheet. For the number of cells containing numbers in this column I used a matrix. Suppose in cell A1 appears the number of cells, the syntax would be:
(= SUM (IF (ColonneClasses <>""; 1)))

I write this formula in a macro:

Sub Macro1 ()
[A1]. FormulaArray = "= SUM (IF (ColonneClasses <>"""", 1))"
End Sub

It works, in cell A1 is the expected result.
I only wish that this result does not appear in the leaf (unnecessary obstruction) and is only used within a macro, so I want a variable gets the result.
How can I do?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Hi

For the number of cells containing numbers in ColonneClasses, try:

Code:
Dim lNum As Long

lNum = Application.WorksheetFunction.Count(Range("ColonneClasses"))

MsgBox lNum
