assign Short key for code using Workbook vba

VBA Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
  With Sheet18
    Call .ShiftTrades
    Call .UpdateBlackBook
  End With
End Sub

in the workbook code i have the following I want to be able to add

VBA Code:
Application.OnKey("+^{D}", "DeleteRowUp")

to the code as workbook Opens. The code Sub DeleteRowUp() is under Sheet18 and not an actual Macro

any help is greatly appreciated.
 

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
Use "Sheet18.DeleteRowUp"

Works like great. Thank you so much RoryA I tried many different method just did not use that one. Also, thanks for the super quick response.
