- There are multiple cells with the same date. 4 cells that all have the date: 7/19/2019.
- There are unique dates which fall on the same day. Example 7/19/2019 and 8/2/2019 both fall on Friday

I need help creating a formula that assigns a unique number (could be any number) to a set of dates. The purpose is to distinguish between multiple dates that fall on the same day of the week for pivot table purposes.

All the dates with 7/19/2019 should have 1 number assigned to it, and all dates with 8/2/2019 should have a different number assigned. Please help.

Service DateUnique Value - Example BelowDay
7/19/20191Friday
7/19/20191Friday
7/19/20191Friday
7/19/20191Friday
8/2/20192Friday
8/2/20192Friday
