Assigned shortcuts no longer working

I've assigned shortcuts keys to several macros in my personal workbook and in workbook specific macros, and suddenly none of them are working. Has anyone had this problem before?? I checked the security settings, they all look good. My computer just did an auto-update and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any programs that interfere somehow with this macro function?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Which version of Excel are you using?

I experience the same thing from time-to-time. For some reason, every now and then the macros in my Personal Workbook macro become disabled.

If that is what the problem is, here is how you can re-enable them:
- Click on the Office button in the upper left hand corner of Exce;
- Click the Excel Options button
- Select the "Add-Ins" option
- Under the "Manage" drop-down list at the botton, select "Disabled Items" and select "Go"
- If you Personal Workbook Macros show up in the Disabled Items box, select it and click "Enable"

That should fix it.

Hmmm...

There isn't anything listed in the "Disabled Items" field. I just checked the shortcut again and it's still not working. I can still manually run the macro, so that's working...

What happens if you try re-mapping the buttons to those macros?
Maybe something happened with the updates to break those links.

I'm actually not using buttons -- just shortcuts (the one I keep checking is Ctr+Shft+W). I tried removing the shortcuts under "Options" on the macro menu, and the re-entering them, but that didn't work either.

Never heard of such at thing as that before.

It may sound stupid, but I would verify that all your keys are still working (espeically check to make sure the CTRL key still works). A good check would be to use CTRL-SHIFT-* to select the Current Region.

Yup, current region works.

I'm gonna take a closer look at the updates that were made and see if I can find anything.

Thanks for your time :), let me know if you have any other ideas...
