assigning a pivot table to a permanent worksheet

I recorded a macro using the pivot table, while recording the macro i tried to assign the pivot table to a permanent worksheet. but when i run the macro again, i get an error. i want the pivot table to appear in the a specified worksheet everytime i run the macro. is this possible? thanks!

Yes, it is possible. First, make sure that the 'permanent' worksheet is the active worksheet (i.e., you can enter data in a cell in it). Now, turn on the macro recorder and create the PT. Anchor it whereever you want. Turn off the recorder.
