Hello Everyone!

I have a question about assigning groups to a data set. The idea is that one of my store room managers can print out an all products list with lot in inventory at the beginning of the year and then assign weeks to that data up to 24 weeks. Then each week they will print out that weeks inventory list and perform a cycle count. Here is an example:

Item Lot Qty Week
aaaaa 111 5
112 2
bbbbb 234 3
233 4
231 6
ccccc 456 2
543 2
455 2
653 4

In this example, lets say its only 3 weeks, and we are grouping by 10 so I want excel to do this:

Item Lot Qty Week
aaaaa 111 5 week1
112 2 week1
bbbbb 234 3 week1
233 4 week2
231 2 week2
ccccc 456 2 week2
543 2 week2
455 6 week3
653 4 week3

In the real life example I have about 2000 items, and if I want 24 weeks, that means I would want groups of 83. Hope someone can help!

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
