When I use the "line/column on 2 axes" or else the "line on 2 axes" graph options I can't figure out how to assign which data series to which axis when I have more than two series.

How can I assign data series to the appropriate axis?

Thanks.

i think you can right click on your data series and format it. There should be a series order that you can change and also an axis option to assign the correct axis.

The built-in custom chart types can be rather inflexible. You can just as easily make your own combination chart, and it will do what you want.

Start with a chart with all series the same (say, all lines). Any series you would change, select, choose Chart Type from the Chart menu, and choose a different type. Then to switch axes (you need at least one sereies per axis group), double click the series, and on the Axis tab, choose Primary or Secondary.
