I have orders that I have transposed from a horizontal table.

I would like to assign the header (e.g. New, New MultiYear, Services, etc) to the value that is listed in that column:

I was thinking of using the index match function to using the header as the return list but the vertical range is longer than it is wide.

INDEX($C$15:$G$15,MATCH(Q180,$C$16:$G$53),0)

Range C16:G53 are all the dollar amounts in the list and the criteria, from the first example, would be 5,287.64. I was hoping that the were result would be New but I go an #N/A error instead probably because the ranges are different.

Is their a formula that would assign one of the order types (header) that would appear if I had the dollar amounts as the criteria

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
