I have created a charting add-in for excel and have sent to our offices in France, however the add-in keeps throwing an error when it trys to assign the name to the series, the values and xvalues work fine.

Help will be gratefully appreciated.

For serie = 1 To Seriecount
.SeriesCollection.NewSeries
.SeriesCollection(serie).Name = "=" & newshtname & "!R" & serie + pst_row & "C1"
' .SeriesCollection(serie).Values = "=" & newshtname & "!R" & serie + pst_row & "C2" & ":R" & serie + pst_row & "C" & Hstrc_prd + 1
.SeriesCollection(serie).XValues = "=" & newshtname & "!R" & pst_row & "C2:R" & pst_row & "C" & Hstrc_prd + 1
Next serie
