Is there an easier way to assign text to the a single value in a string than using IF, THEN?
I want to look at the 4th letter in this string and assign text to it. Also, if I want multiple letters to equate to the same text is there an easier way than again using a long IF, THEN formula?
Example:
AMYAD...fourth position is A = Arkansas
ANGTH...fourth position is T = Texas
AUHRF
AAYZL....fourth position of last two are R and Z both = Chicago
Thanks
