The data I am trying to graph is as follows:
Age Incidence
0-4 5
5-9 4
10-14 12
14-19 14
20-24 11
25-29 6
I am trying to create a simple line graph that will show a peak at the age range of 14-19. When I create the graph, it has 1,2,3,4,5,6 along the x axis instead of the age ranges that I need. Thanks.

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
hi gaz
can't think what it would be - i tried with your sample and couldn't duplicate the problem.
how is your data arranged - more or less as you posted it? how is it formatted (number, text, etc)? what sort of chart are you using?
can you describe what procedure you are following in the chart wizard to graph it?

If the following data is entered into cells A1:B7...

{"Age","Incidence"
;"0-4",5
;"5-9",4
;"10-14",12
;"14-19",14
;"20-24",11
;"25-29",6}

...this chart SERIES function should do the trick...

=SERIES(,Sheet2!$A$2:$A$7,Sheet2!$B$2:$B$7,1)
