Good day,

I'm using Excel 2010, and attempting to retrieve a number (Account Balance*) from another workbook automatically. In the spreadsheet "60507 Fitness Memberships", I'd like to have the formula in i61. The formula that I can get to work in the same spreadsheet is:
=INDIRECT("BD"&MATCH("Account Net Change",INDIRECT("AF"&MATCH(" "&BM13,A:A,0)):AF5000,0)+MATCH(" "&BM13,A:A,0)+3)
... please see yellow hightlighted cell BM15 in spreadsheet "GL_Detail_Listing"
As I change the number in BM13, the Account Balance changes. I just can't seem to get the formula correct to work across spreadsheets.

I'm very appreciative of any assistance provided :)

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
