Hello everyone,

I have been using the Northwind sample database to learn more about "Access" and have run into a stumbling block. I was reviewing the "Customer Phone List" macro and think I understand how it works, but I can not figure out how to attach the macro to a form. I thought it would have something to do with the form properties but just can't see it.

Could some kind soul please explain how to do this?

Thank you,

Michael M

When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
I am not 100% familiar with the Northwind Database as I never played around with it myself, but you are on the right track. It is a form property. Depending on exactly what you want to attach a macro to (the whole form, and individual control) you will see varying properties in the Events tab. This is where you would do it.

You would select an event and then you should be prompted to choose, Macro, Expression, or Code. Select Macro and that is where you would enter your arguments.

Thank you. It turned out to be attached to an object on the form that was hidden. Now that I have found it everything seems to make sense.

Appreciate the help. Have a good one.
