Please can someone tell me if it is possible to add an existing Macro to a new added button (so you just need to press the button rather than run the macro) and if so how it is done?
Thank you

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
from the forms toolbar, select the command button, then click on the worksheet where you want the button. A dialog box opens showing the list of macros, click on the one you want for the button.

When I right click the button a pop-up appears. At the bottom it gives you the option of attaching a macro.

On a button from the Controls Toolbox, you need to be in design mode to right click. The option is "View Code". Between the Sub/EndSub lines call your macro.

To invoke the Forms Toolkit

View, Toolbars, Forms

When I say right click, I mean Right click on the button you placed on the excel form not on the toolbar, my mistake if I wasn't clear.
