Asumming attendance for person A begins in cell D2, enter the following formulas:
In cell AH2 (below TDP): =COUNTIF(D2:AG2,"P")
In cell AI2 (below TDA): =COUNTIF(D2:AG2,"A")
If TDL is the sum of TDP and TDA, then you can just sum them; if it means days not accounted for by either presence or absence, subract the sum of TDP and TDA from 30.
You can then copy the formulas down the respective columns.

Please note: in the absence of clarification, I have made assumptions about what TDP and TDA stand for. If the assumptions are incorrect, please provide clarification.
