Is it possible to automatically add "add ins" like the Analysis Toolpak when the sheet opens?

I gave my sheet that uses the Analysis Toolpak to a friend and when he opened it, some formulas didn't work because the add in wasn't added.

Thanks,
Adrian

Hi There,

the following code can be placed in the ThisWorkbook module:

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    If Not AddIns("Analysis ToolPak").Installed = True Then
        AddIns("Analysis ToolPak").Installed = True
    End If
End Sub

It may still have to install itself if the toolpak has never been used on that computer before but that shouldn't be a problem...

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

S
