i want to print lots of repeated text/numbers
so i entered the number in a cell then used the pulldown
(bottom right select box) to repeat the number
in the cells below but excel has added 1 to every cell so the
number increases by 1 every row, how do i stop excel adding?

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.

One way is:
Hold Ctrl while pulling down

Another way is:
Select all the cells first, type the entry and confirm with ctrl+enter
