Auto backup

Is there a way to create an automatic back up based on a time of day or a macro, with out having to type in a new name. What I would like is a backup created at two different times of the day and to copy over the previous days file? I have not been able to find anything on automatically generated backup. I am currently saving everytime I run a macro, but others who use the system, when I am not using, tend to not run the macros and don't save on a consistant or regular basis.
