Hello,

New to the forum and the more advanced features of Excel. I am doing a project for work that seems pretty straightforward.

The gist:
I am creating a log of faxes sent to our office to a list of various doctors. Each doctor has a different face sheet saved as a word document. The face sheet needs to be edited to reflect the patients name and the amount of pages being sent.

I have created a hyperlink to the document for a doctor but, really want to streamline this for those that are less than proficient at Excel. This will be a shared document for the entire facility to have access to. So, I want to be sure that someone can type a value (doctor’s name) into a cell and it auto fills with the previously used hyperlink on the Excel sheet. Is this a possibility? So far, my googling has gotten me to think I need to do a data validation list and crate drop down options for each cell?

Sadly, due to various regulations/laws I am unable to attach the document since it contains sensitive information.
