Hi
i need to range some cells, but I cant work out the code so that it just autofill to the first blank cell

my code is:
selection.autofill destination:=("a2:a145")

I cant have hard coded cells as the number of rows change each week

your help is appreciated

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).

Paste the following codes in the macro window (Alt F11)

Code:
Sub kkk()
x = Cells(Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp).Row
For a = 2 To x
If Cells(a, 1) = "" Then
Cells(a, 1) = Cells(a - 1, 1)
End If
Next a
End Sub
Run the macro. It will auto fill all blanks with the previous value.
