Hi,

I currently scan about 6,000 inventory items using barcoding. And these values are going right into Excel. The issue I'm face with is certain barcode labels on many products 60% have not been type up properly on the labels. Our standard barcode lenght is 9 bytes. The first 3 bytes are numerical, the 4th byte is alpha and the remainder are numerical values.

My issues is when I scan some items they will show up as 1P1 where it should read 001P00001, some of them show up as p001R1 and those one should show up as 001R00001 I would like to create something that when I'm done scanning I could run a macro, that would auto fill everything properly on my worksheet to a 9 byte format 000A00000 and remove any value that is not numerical for my first 3 bytes such as the p001R1.

Any help would be great!

Thanks
