Please can some expert show me me how to apply Auto Filter method to filter my data. There are about 1000 rows and about 25 columns in my data set. Column A shows the Account Numbers and the filtering needs to be done based on Column A. The numbers in Column A look like this.

Acc. Nos.
1
3
4
7 etc. upto 799, then come Acc. Nos.
900
902 etc. upto 999, then come Acc Nos.
800
803 etc. upto 899

I would like someone to help me filter the data based on the following conditions.

Case 1. Filter the data from 1 to 999 leaving all 800 numbers.
Case 2. Filter the data for all 800 numbers.

Thank you very much

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Use Custom Filter

For First one -
Not showing 800 Numbers

where A/c no is less than or equal to 799
OR
where A/c no is greater than or equal to 900

Second one -

where A/c no is greater than or equal to 800
And
where A/c no is less than or equal to 899

Hope it helps

Thank you very much, Babs. I appreciate your help. The OR and AND was what I was looking for and now the filter works fine.
