What i am after is a way of filtering out data automatically.

Range K8:k301 contains dates, which i only want to show when equal to or greater than cell C1 or is less than cell C2.

The dates in Cells c1 and c2 change on a daily basis so i am just trying to automate this task a little, I know i can set up auto filters and keep changing the criteria but do not want to do it this way.

Hope this makes sense and hope it is possible?

Cheers

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
You can either:

1) Use macros to update the greater than and less than criteria in your autofilter
2) use an advanced filter (with a worksheet_change event macro if you'd like to automatically update your filter if you change C1/C2)
or 3) add a column to your data which calculates J8=AND(K8>$C$1,K8<$C$2), copied down and filter based on column J

Cheers,

I went for option 3 as this seemed easiest method
