Hi, Ok this is most likely the simplest of solutions but its eluding me and driving me nuts.
I;m trying to do an autofill from this number:
24737

Its not calculatig the next number its just pasting the same number. I formated the column to make sure it was teh correct format and that did even help.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!!

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
if you highlight the cell with the 24737 and cells below it, then select Edit - Fill - Series it works

Put 24737 in a cell, click and drag the fill handle (box in lower right corner of the cell) down, and press/hold the CTRL key while you're dragging to fill consecutive numbers/series.

Holding CTRL will either fill the series if it wasn't before or will keep the number constant if it was filling before.
