Hello forum friends, I am wondering if it might be at all possible to renumber the rows on a worksheet after a row is deleted. I have column B numbered C1 through C100. If I delete the entire row C6, then C7 would become C6, and so on... Be great if it's possible, but OK if it isn't. Appreciate any ideas. Thanks!

Hello, in the module of the inserted sheet put this code
VBA Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
    Dim j As Integer
    Application.EnableEvents = False
    For j = 1 To 100
        Cells(j, 3) = j
    Next
    Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub

You can use for numbering: ="C"&row()

@mart37 I like this suggestion. On my worksheet, C1 is actually in row 6, C2 is in row 7, and so on. Is there a way to do this without too much difficulty?
