Auto save can not run in excel 2007

Hi all
I need to use auto save function to save data in excel. I set time to excute is 1 minutes. I type data to sheet about 5 minutes but excel can not auto save data in sheet. can anybody help me use auto save function?

Auto Save does not save changes to your workbook - only to a backup copy of the workbook that would be available for recovery in the event of Excel/PC crashing.
