I know there is a way to autosave files, but as I understand it, the file is a recovery file. Is there a way to set Excel to simply save an open file every x minutes - in other words, hitting the save button automatically?

Thanks but the utility shown there doesn't do what I have in mind. The problem is that I have a client that leaves a spreadsheet open all day that is shared in a dropbox account. She is constantly updating the file, but doesn't remember to save it as she makes the changes. Thus, if someone else uses dropbox to open the file, they will see the file without the changes. Thus, I need something that will automatically save the open spreadsheet not to a recovery location, but simply emulating pressing the save button periodically.

Any ideas?
Thanks
David
