Long time lurker, first time poster.
Basically, I have a range consisting of 2 columns, a postcode, and a second column, that postcode trimmed down to district. eg. LE16 9HA in column one, and LE16 in column 2. There's also a further column just showing the first Letter...in this case L.
The total range has roughly 460K rows, what I'm looking to do is sort this data into columns based on the first part of the postcode...so LE16 in the column heading, then LE16 9HA, LE16 9EU etc. into the column below. Is there any easy way of doing this with a data set that's quite so vast?
Eventually I would like to sort these into separate sheets sorted by letter but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
Thanks in advance,
Leo
