Hello,

I'm using MS Excel 2002 and have a problem with charts:
I am exporting a data table from MS ACCESS into EXCEL. All that works fine.
Then I linked the source fields of the chart to this exported worksheet by typing this in the cell: =VALUE(ExpSheet!A1)
The cell displays the correct value.
NOW, the chart itself does not refresh itself. It always has the old numbers in it, even though its OWN source data shows the correct/new value. I have to manually change the source data real quick, and the change it back to the original source data and VOILA...it refreshed.

Why does the chart not realize that its OWN source data has changed????
I wondered if there was something I have to activate within Excel or if it is just a bug.

Any suggestions?

Kai
