Hey all!

I'm fairly new to excel and need some help. In one column I want to create an autocompleting list that has about 5 options, the user can then hit enter, then go to the cell below it. I've tried a dropdown list using the data validation tool as well as creating a combo box. However, I am not getting the results I want. Please help!!!!

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
@s412c577, welcome to the Forum.

If it just 5 items why do you need autocomplete feature? Usually you need autocomplete if you have a long list.

Anyway, I created an add-in called “Search deList”, and I shared it as a freeware.
Its function is to speed up searching in data validation list. In any cell that has data validation (with List type) pressing ALT+RIGHT will open a Userform with a combobox. You can type multiple keywords (separated by a space) in the combobox and the list will be narrowed down as you type.
I posted the add-in in this thread link
