Hi

Is there a way i can prevent a user from using Autofill on certain cells within a spreadsheet? They need to populate certain cells with dates, but when they use Autofill it changes the dates on all the cells below

Would like to see if there is a way i can prevent this on certain cells within the sheet to stop the user from doing this

Cheers

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
autocomplete can be switched on or off on the application level.

So you can switch it off if your workbook (or even the worksheet) gets activated, but then you also need to swich it on agan when it gets de-activated. You can do that in the worksheet module for instance.

By the way, I son't understand how the user can change the underlying cells when autocompleting and not when filling out the data by hand.
