I copy rows from Sheet 1 and want to paste to Sheet 2.

Sheet 2 is autofiltered and I only want to paste to those rows that are shown and meet my filtered criteria.

How can I do this and not paste to those rows that have been filtered out?

Thanks.

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Hi:

When copying and pasting (filtered items) from a filtered list to another sheet or range you should be able to only copy the cells of interest.

When coping cells to a filtered list you would need to redefine the auto filter range to then include the additional items added.

I appologize if I misunderstood your question. Please clarify with a short example.

sheet 1 is unfiltered, so I copy rows 1 ~ 10.
Sheet 2 is filtered, so let's say only the odd numbered rows are shown.

I want to paste rows 1-10 of Sheet 1 to only the odd numbers rows of Sheet 2. So after pasting, the even numbers of Sheet 2 should stay blank.

So it should look like this when done

SHEET 2
Rows Column A
1 A
2
3
4

So basically when I paste to filtered column, my copied data is also pasting to the 'invisible' rows. I only want the data to paste to the 'visible' filtered rows.
