AutoFilter problem

Hi. I am running Excel 2003 and I use autofilter frequently for monthly reporting. I have four separate spreadsheets that are basically identical, but are used for four different facilities. Recently I have developed a problem with one of them. When I use the autofilter feature, it works fine, but when I'm finished and turn it off, the little down-arrows that appear when you use that feature won't go away. They no longer function until you turn autofilter back on, but they are still there. I would appreciate any help you can provide.

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
The document is located on a server, and other people do enter data into it, but it is not a shared document. Sorry, I forgot to mention that. I did check to make sure it wasn't already opened by someone else too. Thanks for asking!
