Autofilter problems

Hi all

I have a farily large spreadsheet with a lot of data tabs (for ease of use) that may or may not have an autofilter applied.

I keep forgetting to switch off the autofilters before running code to import data which is causing problems.

I've recorded macros for adding and removing autofilters and they are identical.

So now for the question(s), how can I remove a (possible) autofilter from a data sheet without adding one by accident?
Is there a way of checking if an autofilter is in place before trying to remove it?

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
