Hello,

I'm trying to use the autofilter to sort a list. Using the custom feature it allows you to sort for 2 different items. Is there a way to search for more than 2.

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
hi bwm..use data/filter/advanced filter...it is meant exactly for what yu are asking..type in "advanced filter" in the help to get more info...lemme know if it does not work and we'll go from there..

AutoFiltering doesn't sort anything it merely acts like a sieve. In Excel a sorting process sequences a list.
