Return to the sort by title. Using a Custom AutoFilter, display only records for the color of the car whose is either black or white, and list that cars model year that is after 1979.

I tried doing this. I made a custom AutoFilter for the color and that sorted great. Then I selected 1979, and it only showed the black color, it left the white out. What did I do wrong?

The I did the year first, and then I made a list for black and white. Then, no data showed.

Am I missing something?

i take it your colours are in one column and the years in another, you will need to do two custom filters to achive what you require

first click the colour column and select custom, the enter Black or White click ok, this will filter out the black and white cars, the select the year column, click custom and enter => 1979 this will filter again on the years
