I would like to automate a "NO" reply to the Excel prompt to update links when a file opens via a VB command. What's the code for this, please?

Thank you!

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Maybe this
Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
ThisWorkbook.UpdateLinks = xlUpdateLinksNever
End Sub

Here are three ways, first to update, second to not update, third to use the user settings.

Rich (BB code):
Sub OpenUpdate()

    Workbooks.Open FileName:= _

        "C:\My Documents\LinkedBook.xls", UpdateLinks:=xlUpdateLinksAlways

End Sub

Sub OpenDontUpdate()

    Workbooks.Open FileName:= _

        "C:\My Documents\LinkedBook.xls", UpdateLinks:=xlUpdateLinksNever

End Sub

Sub OpenUpdateLinksPerSettings()

    Workbooks.Open FileName:= _

        "C:\My Documents\LinkedBook.xls", UpdateLinks:=xlUpdateLinksUserSetting

End Sub
