A little background about what I need...

I have a folder labeled 2015, inside that folder are 12 subfolders labeled 1 through 12, in those folders are the excel files, these are labeled by the date they are intended for. (5-26-2015.xlsm format)

Every day, at 6:00am, the corresponding file with todays date is supposed to be emailed to one person, the same person every day.

For example today is May 26th 2015, So the file located at \\server\2015\5\5-26-2015.xlsm would need to be attached and emailed. Tomorrow, \\server\2015\5\5-27-2015.xlsm would be sent.

I have no clue where to even start with this so any help is greatly appreciated, if I have not provided you with enough information please let me know what you need.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
just bumping in case anyone has any ideas

I think using a scheduled task will allow me to send the email, but I need some way to change the file named todays date (5-27-15.xlsm) renamed to Today.xlsm so the scheduled task will work.
