Hi guys,

I've seen people post how to change a Tab name based on a cell's value/name using a macro, but what I'm looking for is the exact opposite.

I need to have a cell's name/value change based on a tab's name.

Would appreciate the help. Thank you

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

You don't need a macro. Here's a formula you can put in that cell:

Code:
=RIGHT(CELL("filename",A1),LEN(CELL("filename",A1))-SEARCH("]",CELL("filename",A1)))
