Im trying to build a model that will count all my data.

My data is organized in 12 columns: There are twelve of them January 2011 through December 2011. The first month, January 2011 is linked to another cell that's titled "January 2011", but if I change that month to "June 2011" then my columns will regenerate themselves as June 2011 through May 2012.

My pivot table date is also set up with columns January 2011 through December 2021 (even though that data doesn't yet exist).

Is there any way I can make a countif function see that the first month is January 2011 to december 2011 and then count all the data that corresponds to that month, but also be able to count all the data from June 2011 through May 2012 if I were to change the first month?
