Fellow Forum Members,
I have a lot of cells containing numbers and with dark colored highlights applied that makes the numbers hard to read. I also have other cells with colors like Yellow that is easy to read the black colored fonts.

What conditional formula can I use to change Black Font Color to WHITE only if a DARK color highlight is applied? And for bright color highlighted cells (such as YELLOW) the FONT color remans as BLACK.

Is it possible for a conditional formula to be smart enough to decide by itself to use either WHITE or BLACK Font colors depending on whether a Dark or Bright colored highlight is used? Any help or opinions welcome.

are the cells initially highlighted with conditional formatting or manually?

If its thru conditional formatting then an adjustment to the rule coloring would probably do.

If you're selecting and coloring the cell manually then you'd probably need VBA to do it.
