Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)

Put this in the workbook module

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
Sheets("Sheet1").Activate
Range("A1").Value = Range("A1").Value + 1
ActiveWorkbook.Save
End Sub

Do a search in the archieves for invoice ideas this topic has been covered many times from numbers to databasing.
