Scenario: I input a date someone has taken a certification course. Is there anyway to make excel email me a reminder once my system date exceeds a specified date.

For example: Date of course is: 2/22/05. When 1 month passes, Excel would send me an email reminding me.

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Adding a task to the taskpad isn't an acceptable solution? You wouldn't have to use Excel at all for that.

In Outlook, there's a Tasks folder where you can add new tasks to be done. These can be one time only tasks, or recurring. You can also assign prorities and due dates for each task. No Excel required.
