Automatic entry of array based on function result's array size

Hi! I'd like to ask a question with regard to getting results from array-based functions.

I was wondering if it is possible, to say, if I have a 4x4 array resulting from my function's calculations. While I know that I have to highlight exactly 4x4 cells then hit CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER in order to view all 4x4 results, is there a way for me to simply enter in one cell the function and after CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER, all cells will still be printed out?

I mean say I entered the formula in cell C2. What I am looking for is that when I hit CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER in cell C2, the entire range C2:F5 (the 4x4 region) will automatically print the results out.

Is there a way or a strategy to achieve this? Thank you very much!

By the way, I am crossposting this from: Filling in required spreadsheet cells based on array size of resulting table from function

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)
