Hi!
I'm a kitchen manager in a restaurant and need to make a weekly shift planner for my cooks.
Here's the problem: Every shift has X amount of people needed, and every worker has days they might not be able to work.
In order to make the task less time-consuming, I'd like it if someone can help me with making an automatic shift planner.

The guidelines are:
5 workers (can grow eventually)
3 shifts a day (morning, noon, evening)
5 days a week (starting Sunday)
different workers might not be able to work certain shifts (i need to able to change this every week)
The morning shift must have two workers, and the noon and evening must have one (but this can change with time).
Must be read Right-to-left (I live in Israel, so the file would be translated to Hebrew which is read RTL)

Hi,

I think you should use Excel Solver Function to do this.
It can be pretty complex to build, but when it's done it works amazing. I'm not an expert in building those, but in below video you might be able to get some input.
I also think that I've seen some examples on the internet for download, try to google shift planner with Excel Solver.
