Automatic update is not done in Excel

Hello
I have two sheets in an excel file where I have inputs (numbers) in sheet 1 and equations in sheet 2. When I change the inputs in sheet 1, the equations in sheet 2 are not updating automatically unless I click on the equation and press enter.
Is there a way to make it automatically?
Thanks
Mohsen

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
1) Check to ensure your calculation setting (formulas --> calculation options) is not set to manual. If it IS set to manual, changing it to automatic should fix that.
2) If calculations are already set to automatic and your formulas aren't recalculating, try using find & replace to replace all instances of = with =. That doesn't seem like it should do anything; but, every once in a while, Excel can get tripped up into thinking your formulas are text values and not live formulas. Replacing = with = is enough to remind Excel that there are formulas there, and they'll start to work again.
