Hi,

So I work in a 24/7 plant. 1 shift starts at 06.00 and finishes at 18.00 (day shift). The next shift starts at 18.00 and finishes at 06.00 (night shift).

I have already produced a production schedule on excel but im looking to improve it.

Im planning to use a check ✔ box. Will have Monday day, Monday night and so on with the checkbox next to each of them. I will then tick each box where the machine will be shutdown for the 12 hours.

E.g.

Its Tuesday night.

Planned shutdown for Wednesday day shift and Thursday day shift.

So if I tick the checkbox for Wednesday day and Thursday day, the time should stop at 06.00 then start up again at 18.00.

My production schedule has finishing dates and times for each job but not sure how it will know when Wednesday or any of the other days are.

Any help is greatly appreciated ?

Kind regards,

M
