Automatically copy cell color without values or VBA?

Is there a way to automatically copy a cell color from another cell just based on the color of the cell without using VBA or a value?

I have a chart with many of the same values but they have different colors in each cell (so using conditional formatting based on values wouldn’t work) and im trying to have a new subset chart automatically filled from that data (using the vlookup function) but I would need the cell colors to transfer over as well.

Thank you

Would you happen to know a way to accomplish this then with VBA for a novice like myself?
To answer that we would need to know much more about your layout, existing data and just what you are trying to achieve.
What about a small set of dummy sample data and expected results so we can see the layout and exactly what sort of data we are dealing with?
My signature block below has help with a good way to do that.
