I have a spreadsheet where I have each day of the month listed vertically in column "B" so that I can input quantities used on a daily basis. What I am wanting to do is make it where I can put the first day of each month in cell "B4" and have the cells below automatically fill in the rest of the month but on months with only 30 days I don't want it to put the first day of the next month in the last cell. I tried to accomplished this with a basic formula of (=A1+1, A2+1,A3+1, etc.), but I don't know how to keep it from showing the first day of the next month in that last cell. Thank you in advance for helping me out with this.

Assuming that your first date is in cell A1, enter this formula in cell A2 and copy all the way down to cell A31:
Code:
=IFERROR(IF(MONTH(A10)=MONTH(A10+1),A10+1,""),"")
After the end of the month, it will just return blanks (instead of the first day or so of the following month).

You could put in B5 then drag down:

=IFERROR(IF(MONTH(B4+1)>MONTH(B4),"",B4+1),"")

Thank you both for taking the time to help me out!! It took me a couple of times of not entering in the formula right to get it to work but I finally got it.

Thanks again!!
